Bartender – Brick & Forge Taproom Central Arkansas Hospitality Group 1010 Main Street, Conway, AR 72032 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, including Aloha POS. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders, offering recommendations, and addressing any concerns. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the preparation and serving of beverages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate beverage service during busy periods. Stay updated on drink trends, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes to enhance customer experience. Qualifications Previous experience in bartending is required Strong customer service skills with an ability to create a friendly atmosphere in a nightclub or restaurant setting. Proficiency in cash handling and retail math; experience with cash registers is essential. Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages, brewing methods, and cocktail preparation techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the bartending field.
