Bartender Marcello’s Italian Eatery 477 Main Street, Monroe, CT 06468 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as responsible alcohol service guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and fine dining service standards. Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash register operations and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests. Familiarity with catering services is a plus but not required.
