Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are a craft cocktail bar with a food menu located in Derby, CT. We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. Hospitality is key! As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic beverages, as well as taking food orders. This position requires cash handling experience, a great attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Right now our hours are Thursday thru Sundays, 4 pm til close (usually before midnight). Craft cocktail bartending experience a must!

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Mix ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails
• Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register
• Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by attending to customer needs promptly and courteously
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or bar setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
• Proficient in math for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
