Bartender Sparrow 31 Bank Street, New Milford, CT 06776 Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations while preparing drinks. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist with private events as required, providing excellent service in a variety of settings. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication regarding menu items. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Experience in fine dining or upscale establishments is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
