Waitress/Bartender Monacos Restaurant Winsted, CT 06098 Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic bartender/waitress to join our vibrant team. As a bartender/waitress, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm environment for our guests. Your passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service will ensure that patrons enjoy their time while dinning in. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent guest relations by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit. Being able to take dinner orders while preparing the customers drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bussing tables. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Upsell drink/dinner specials and menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred, especially in bar setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly. Basic math skills for cash handling and managing tabs efficiently. Knowledge of various drink recipes, cocktail preparation techniques, and bartending equipment. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
