Bartender Responsibilities:
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons. Interact with customers and serve drink orders. Provides a personal touch to repeat guests such as learning names and favorite drinks Must have good awareness of new patrons sitting at the bar Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. Prepare drinks according to Upper Deck recipes Peel, slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies. Learn the menu and make recommendations when appropriate Accurately rings up all orders in the POS system Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Answer phones especially during late night hours Respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional fashion Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
Bartender Requirements:
Minimum age requirement of 21 years At least 2 years of bartending experience Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Be able to reach and bend and frequently lift up to 30 pounds Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks. Knowledge of alcohol, beer & wine service Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful environment. Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean. Approachable and able to engage consumers
