Kava Tender Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Kava Tender to join our team. As a Kava Tender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving traditional Kava beverages while providing exceptional hospitality and customer service to our guests. If you have a passion for the hospitality industry and enjoy creating memorable experiences with customers, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve traditional Kava beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kava bar area
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Assist with bartending duties as needed
- Handle cash transactions using POS system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the Kava bar
- Participate in brewing Kava following specific instructions
Requirements:
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and measurements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
