Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using the Jonas POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards. Handle cash register transactions, including processing payments and providing change. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs promptly. Provide assistance to guests by answering questions about the menu or making recommendations. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling is a plus. Experience with bartending or catering services is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving furniture.
