As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while preparing and serving beverages efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Process transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit card payments accurately. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow. Familiarity with retail math concepts related to inventory management is advantageous. Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage recipes is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal, to foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
