Barback Cowford Chophouse 101 East Bay Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202 Cowford Chophouse is looking for a select few candidates for the following Front of the House position: Barback We are looking for experienced candidates to hit the ground running. Come apply in person at the restaurant between the hours of 2pm to 4pm, Tuesday through Friday. The Barback works with the Bartender and is responsible for ensuring that guests are offered an enjoyable visit reflecting the high customer service standards of our establishment. They ensure all details of service are performed properly and every guest receives the highest quality of service. A Barback must maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests, other employees and management staff.

Responsibilities:

Assist with maintaining a proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking liquor, beer, wine, juices, soft drinks, garnishments, condiments and glassware. Ensure bar and service area is organized, clean and neat. Replenish supplies in the bar area, including garnishes, liquor, beer, glassware, napkins and other related items. Be prepared to describe products served and make recommendations as requested. Recognize and notify management of any problems resulting from guest complaints, intoxication or disruptive behavior. Notify management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of tables, chairs, floors, and/or equipment and any accidents.
