Job Scope Perform duties to ensure guests have a great experience consistent with our brand by handling all guest interactions from initial greeting to payment processing, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice. Skills required Knowledge of spirits : Need a basic understanding of the different types of spirits available. Know ingredients, flavor profiles and common mixers for each type of spirit to be able to create unique drink recipes. Ability to go the extra mile with craft cocktails.
Mixing Techniques :
Mixologists use a variety of techniques to mix drinks. Know the importance of using the right tools and correct proportions of ingredients, garnishments, and other decorations to enhance the presentation of a drink.
Creativity :
Ability to both follow recipes & create new drink recipes. Need to be able to work with a variety of different ingredients and understand how to balance flavors to create drinks that are delicious and visually appealing.
Communication :
Skill to work with customer to understand their preferences and explain the ingredients and preparation of their drinks. Work with other bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure they can make the drinks for a customer’s order. Customer service : Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
