Server/Bartender Ajua Mexican Kitchen LLC Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, serving and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with guests to provide a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Skills Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary basics is preferred. Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers for accurate transactions. Basic math skills for managing tabs and processing payments efficiently. Experience in sales techniques to promote menu items effectively. Background in food service is advantageous, enhancing overall operational efficiency. A helpful attitude towards both guests and team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
