Bartender Duties:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other specialty drinks
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
• Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register or POS system
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in the hospitality/food service industry is preferred
• Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
• Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages is a plus
