Head Bartender/Bar Manager Rush Inn Bar & Grille 10801 Corkscrew Road, Estero, FL 33928 Job description Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional service, crafting delicious cocktails, and maintaining a vibrant atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale systems. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support banquet events or special occasions as required. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks. Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to enhance the drink menu. Skills Proven experience in bartending or relevant roles within the food industry. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell drinks and promote specials effectively. Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage types is a plus. Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail in transactions. Experience working in nightclubs or high-volume settings is preferred. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
