Job Description
Bartender 18 South Sports Bar 20 S Magnolia Ave, Ocala, FL 34471 We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone that is available to work Thursday morning, Friday morning, and Friday night. There will be a 5 hour break between shifts on Friday. We expect that the perfect candidate is able to:
- Prepare and serve beverages following recipes and customer requests
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of mixing drinks and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in math for handling cash transactions
