Barback part-time Talavera 2299 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Coral Gables, FL 33134 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, organized, and running smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in nightclubs, restaurants, and catering settings. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes throughout service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar for events or shifts. Manage inventory by tracking stock levels and notifying management when supplies are low. Provide support during busy periods by bussing tables and assisting with customer service as needed. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times. Operate Aloha POS system for processing orders when necessary. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred; experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is a plus. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic knowledge of bartending techniques and drink preparation is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
