$26K – $41K a year 7 hours ago Qualifications Mid-level Bar Bartending Cocktail experience Full Job Description As an experienced Bartender you should be able to provide an excellent guest drinking experience, create and mix cocktails at both the main bar in front of customers, but also in the busy service bar behind the scenes. Must be knowledgeable of classic cocktails as-well as venue specials including in depth knowledge of premium liquors and beyond. Must be able to mix drinks without waste, spillage and as per specific measurements. Bartenders are expected to be able to effectively interact with customers in order to supply them with, and sometimes recommend, food and drink items that appeal directly to their tastes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must possess an “above and beyond” attitude when dealing with guests. Always have main focus on guests and stay attentive towards the front of the bar at all times. Interact with guests to create memorable experiences Respond effectively to guest inquiries and report any problems or complaints to Bar Manager or other HOD on duty Understand the importance of guest satisfaction and focus on continuous betterment of skills and knowledge Stay on top of beverage trends, news and other valuable information pertaining to the world of beverages in order to remain a valuable asset to the beverage team at Mr Hospitality Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by addressing problems to bar manager. Keep bar areas clean in accordance with the company’s cleaning and sanitation guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department. The bar areas must be kept tidy and all tools must be rinsed and placed where they belong during service. Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs and waste at a minimum Ensure all drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are rung into the POS whether it be for customers, management or ownership as soon as the drink(s) have been ordered Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final cash drop Abide by company standards in regards to behavior and following instructions accordingly by lead bartender and management Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times Maintain food handling and safe alcohol standards Complete opening/closing procedures as directed by the lead bartender and floor manager Make sure that bar inventory is done weekly to avoid running low of alcoholic beverages Keep a record of and report any breakage or wastage to lead bartender for adjustment Assist with putting deliveries away in the relevant location ie Liquor room, Bar, Walk in Assist with maintaining storage spaces in good order i.e liquor room/walk-in coolers Fill out order sheet to assist with orders
