Bartender Varsol by Akashi Coconut Grove, FL 33133 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for our guests in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving guidelines. Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring timely service during events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food handling standards are met when serving food items. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Requirements Proven experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or similar setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist guests effectively. Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders and payments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently. Must possess valid food handling certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
