The Courtyard Miami Airport, located at 1201 NW LeJeune Road,Miami, FL 33126 is currently hiring a Bartender.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare drink orders for guests accordingto specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, andserve wine/champagne bottles. Attend to tables in the dining area.
Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit,tables, and other tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stockice, glassware, and paper supplies. Restock bar with liquor andsupplies. Transport supplies to bar set-up area. Wash soiledglassware. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place indesignated area. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
Process all payment methods. Count bank at end of shift, completedesignated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop offreceipts, and secure bank. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers,cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform andpersonal appearance are clean and professional, maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information, and protect companyassets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to companystandards, anticipate and address guests? service needs, and thankguests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear andprofessional language. Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with others, support team to reach common goals, andlisten and respond appropriately to the concerns of otheremployees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less thanor equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and belowthe knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
