Overview:

•Hyatt Centric South Beach is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lounge/Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a bartender at our stylish south beach property, you will create memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide outstanding service to guests by engaging with them, taking orders, and delivering drinks in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware and equipment, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Create and implement innovative drink specials and seasonal cocktails to enhance the guest experience and promote bar sales. Ensure the proper handling and storage of alcohol, inventory management, and accurate cash handling. Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless service for our guests. Demonstrate knowledge of local and international spirits, wines, and beers, and provide recommendations to guests. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring customer satisfaction. Participate in regular training sessions to keep up to date on new products, trends in mixology, and service techniques. Support the overall team in various tasks as needed to maintain a high level of service.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a hotel or upscale bar/restaurant setting. Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixing techniques, as well as an understanding of bar equipment and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Florida Title 4 Certification (Bartending License) is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for exceptional guest service.
