Immediate Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a thoughtful wine list that balances approachability and distinction, with a strong emphasis on American and European wines
Guide guests through wine selections and pairings with enthusiasm and expertise
Collaborate with the Beverage Director and Chef on seasonal pairing menus and wine-forward events
Maintain accurate inventory, cellar organization, and proper storage practices
Lead wine education and tastings for FOH staff; promote a culture of beverage knowledge and pride
Ensure elevated but unpretentious wine service, including bottle presentation and decanting
Actively support floor service during peak shifts — be present, personable, and proactive with guests
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a sommelier or wine-focused role in upscale or fine dining
Strong knowledge of wine fundamentals; familiarity with Old and New World varietals
WSET Level 2 or higher, CMS, or CSW certification preferred
Personable, polished, and confident in guest interaction
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Passion for hospitality and storytelling through food and drink
Availability for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
