We specialize in thoughtful cocktails, curated sake selections, and an intimate guest experience. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bar Supervisor to support and guide our beverage program, oversee day-to-day operations, and help deliver exceptional guest service. Position Summary The Bar Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role responsible for bartending during service, overseeing nightly operations as Manager on Duty, and supporting the overall beverage and guest experience program. This role combines creativity, organization, and leadership. The right candidate is confident behind the bar, knowledgeable about sake, and capable of leading a high-performing team through both calm and high-volume shifts. Key ResponsibilitiesBartending & Floor Leadership Actively bartend during service and ensure efficient bar operations. Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, overseeing FOH operations, staff performance, and guest satisfaction. Lead pre-shift meetings and maintain clear communication between the FOH and BOH teams. Beverage Program & Menu Development Collaborate on seasonal cocktail menus and featured drink offerings. Maintain and evolve our curated sake list, including pairings and staff education. Conduct staff tastings and training to ensure consistency and beverage knowledge. Operations & Ordering Monitor inventory levels, usage, and par standards. Place orders for spirits, sake, beer, wine, N/A beverages, and bar supplies. Track product usage and ensure accurate invoicing and vendor communication. Team Support & Service Oversight Train, mentor, and support bartenders and service staff in accordance with Bar Kada standards. Maintain a calm and professional presence during service, jumping in where needed. Uphold a clean, organized, and compliant bar environment. Guest Experience Create a welcoming, educational, and engaging experience for guests. Make pairing recommendations and guide guests through the sake and cocktail menus. Handle guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and urgency. Qualifications 2+ years of bar experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong cocktail and mixology background; sake knowledge is required or must be willing to learn. Experience with ordering, inventory, and vendor communication. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and intimate setting.
Compensation Bartending shifts:
