Bartender/Server Jala Indian fine Dining Winter Park, FL 32789 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system (Aloha POS experience is a plus). Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and drink preparation techniques. Skills Strong cash handling skills with experience in managing transactions efficiently. Excellent sales abilities to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively. Knowledge of brewing techniques is beneficial for crafting unique beverages. Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred. Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous but not required.
