As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers and Aloha POS systems, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, providing recommendations, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as necessary to ensure adequate stock is maintained. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service for guests. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Experience Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus, along with strong cash handling skills. Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash register operations and sales calculations. A background in the food industry or retail math is beneficial for understanding inventory management and customer service dynamics.
