Description:
Prepare and serve a variety of food & beverage items according to established recipes. Operate cash register and POS system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers with their selections. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food, drinks, and other supplies. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and improve skills for the position.
Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a restaurant, café or retail environment is strongly preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for patrons. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work independently while being self-motivated as well as collaboratively as part of a team when needed. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfil assigned tasks Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds on a regular basis Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends/holidays. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Must be able to obtain a state of Florida Food Safety Certificate
