The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring that the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and eager to learn the ins and outs of the beverage service industry. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes to ensure smooth service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning spills promptly. Help with the setup and breakdown of bar stations for busy shifts. Manage inventory levels and communicate needs to bartenders or management. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and assisting them with their needs. Support bussing duties by clearing empty glasses and plates from tables as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in a busy environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with nightclub or restaurant environments is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. A willingness to learn and grow within the role, demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
