Bartender Bon-Aire Resort Saint Pete Beach, FL Essential Functions:

Take every opportunity to impress the guest with customer service Smile, make eye contact, and greet guests immediately Handle special requests properly, communicate food allergies to the kitchen Be friendly, thorough, accurate, and efficient in taking orders Take food orders for guests; communicate to the kitchen through the POS system Prepare drinks for the customers Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages Police intoxicated behavior; illegal drug activity, aggressive behavior, slurred speech Hand out food orders to the guests Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area through disposing of all waste, wiping down bar and preparation areas Ensure that the proper par levels are on hand at the beginning and end of each shift Prepare mixers, cut fruit, check par levels, refill mixers, get ice, run food, collect and dispose of garbage throughout your shift Clean the tables, bar counter and surrounding area before and after your shift Adhere to proper procedures when charging drinks and food items to guest rooms. Open room charges by verifying the guest last name and getting their signature Update all guest tabs whenever an item is ordered Handle and account for all cash and credit cards Collect payment and give proper change to guests when closing out a check Use your best judgement on when to call for manager support Participate in deep cleaning of the bar when assigned Balance and close shift properly

Requirements:

Must have strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health standards Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations and Bon-Aire’s policies regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written Must have basic computer and computational abilities Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time Must be able to exert fast-paced ability in limited space Must have 5 years minimum experience Bartending.

Hours:
