Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender at San Jose’s Original Mexican Restaurant, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Your passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Maintain a clean and organized bar area. Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders and process payments accurately. Check identification to verify legal drinking age. Monitor and manage inventory levels. Stay updated on current drink trends and seasonal offerings. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service. Uphold all health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting. Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems. A positive attitude and a passion for customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 21 years of age.
