Pool Bartender The Ford Field & River Club Inc 48 Ford Way, Richmond Hill, GA 31324 Job purpose The Pool Bartender tends bar and serves food and drinks to the members, guests and prospects at The Ford Field and River Club pool. The goal of the Pool Bartender is to provide excellent food and beverage service to members and guests in a poolside setting, ensuring a high quality and enjoyable experience. This role involves delivering efficient, friendly, and professional service while maintaining a clean and organized environment Duties and responsibilities Greet Members and Guests warmly upon their arrival at the pool area, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, answering any questions. Remain attentive to members and guests throughout their entire time at the pool. Ensure members and guests have excellent experience by providing top-notch service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool bar area, keeping it fully stocked with necessary supplies and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment. Notify management of any guest concerns or complaints in a timely manner, ensuring prompt resolution. Perform closing and clean-up duties as assigned by management Work is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure. Follows standard drink recipes. Mix ingredients of liquor, soda, water, sugar and/or bitters to prepare cocktails and other specialty drinks. Decant and serves wine and bottled beer. Collect chits for drinks ordered, in lieu of cash. Order supplies as requested by the Director of Food & Beverage. Arrange bottles and glasses to create an attractive and appealing display. May be requested to slice and pit fruit for drinks garnish. May be requested to prepare bar snacks and appetizers. Have a working knowledge of the pool menu. Assist with other duties as needed Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bartending certification highly preferred. Thorough working knowledge of the bartending trade. Thorough working knowledge of drinks and their composition. Friendly, outgoing personality is required. Excellent verbal communication skills for a high degree of interaction with members, guests and prospects. Excellent grooming and customer service skills required. Working conditions Works in an outdoors environment which has fluctuations with the local weather. Must be able to work irregular hours as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have ability to uphold the standards of the Food and Beverage department. Physical requirements Standing, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling. Lifts 50 pounds occasionally up to 75 pounds. Vision must be correctable to read and write. Hearing must be sufficient to understand conversation on the telephone in a noisy environment. Must have hand usage to operate various equipment as required. Direct reports None.
