As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to food safety standards. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Stay updated on drink trends, new products, and menu changes to enhance guest experience. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash register operations and making change. Familiarity with brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Understanding of food safety practices is essential; certification may be required depending on local regulations.
