This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will be proactive in upselling products and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to all safety protocols. Responsibilities Serve a selection of beverages and snacks to guests in a timely and courteous manner. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the beverage cart/snack shack, ensuring all items are presented attractively. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Engage with guests to provide information about menu items, making recommendations to enhance their experience. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing retail math skills for handling cash and credit sales. Monitor inventory levels restocking as necessary to ensure availability of popular items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the preparation of items as needed. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Experience in the food industry, particularly in roles related to culinary or retail settings. Familiarity with grocery store operations or café environments is preferred. Ability to perform basic retail math for accurate transaction processing. Excellent upselling skills with a focus on enhancing customer experience through product recommendations.
