The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. As a Barback, you will assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency at the bar while enhancing the overall guest experience. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and garnishes. Clean and maintain the bar area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times. Help with food service during events or busy periods, including setting up and clearing tables. Operate cash registers for transactions as needed and assist with customer inquiries. Support catering operations by preparing drinks and serving guests during banquets or special events. Buss tables promptly to ensure a clean environment for guests. Follow food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with cash register operations is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
