Bartender/Server Wee Pub Brunswick 267 Village At Glynn Place, Brunswick, GA 31525 Overview Seeking a person to work in our restaurant as a Server / Bartender. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to do their job to the absolute best of their ability to help ensure a positive guest experience. Bartenders need not have very much experience bartending. A server background is preferred. We will train a desireable person who possesses a positive attitude and great customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service, innovative drink preparation, and effective communication. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers to provide recommendations, take orders, and ensure satisfaction throughout their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary, particularly during catering events or special functions. Stay informed about new products, trends in the industry, and seasonal offerings to enhance the menu. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards. Protect the interests of the restaurant and its owners. Skills Some background in hospitality with experience in the food industry preferred. Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs. Experience in catering services can enhance your ability to manage large events. A proactive attitude towards helping guests and providing outstanding service. Sales skills are beneficial for promoting specials or upselling menu items. Familiarity with fine dining standards or nightclub environments can be advantageous.
