Part-Time Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused On-Call Servers and Bartenders to join our dynamic event staffing team. This role involves working at a variety of high-profile banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and other special events. Candidates must be professional, punctual, and able to adapt to fast-paced environments while delivering outstanding guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
For Servers:
Set up and break down event spaces according to client specifications (tables, chairs, linens, place settings). Greet guests and provide courteous, professional food and beverage service. Serve plated meals or assist with buffet-style service. Clear tables and maintain cleanliness throughout the event. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Work closely with kitchen and event managers to ensure smooth service.
For Bartenders:
Set up and stock bar with all necessary supplies. Mix and serve drinks according to standard recipes or event specifications. Engage with guests in a friendly, efficient manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Check identification to ensure guests meet minimum age requirements. Follow all local alcohol laws and company policies.
Requirements:
Previous experience in banquet serving, catering, or bartending (1+ year preferred). Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. TIPS or Responsible Beverage Service certification (for bartenders). Food Handler’s Certificate may be required depending on location. Professional appearance and demeanor.
