Server/Bartender Marble Hill Tavern 218 Foothills Pkwy, Marble Hill, GA 30148 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system. Provide menu recommendations and upsell items when appropriate. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery. Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and culinary techniques to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or as a Server is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments. Familiarity with POS systems Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn about menu items.
