Bartender/Server Fortify Pi Clayton, GA 30525 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, crafting delicious beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires a blend of creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed, providing support to ensure smooth operations. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders when necessary to maintain stock. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving food and drinks. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods. Skills Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and cocktail recipes. Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Proficiency in retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Ability to operate a cash register efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for those interested in craft beverages. Strong multitasking abilities to handle high-volume service during peak hours.
