! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our Coop. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the front of house area. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy interacting with customers, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance the guest experience. Prepare food items as needed while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including bussing tables and clearing dishes. Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen as required. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
