The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the culinary arts. Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards before serving. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in bussing or restaurant operations is advantageous, especially in hotel settings. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
