You will be in charge of taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Compensation:

9 – 11 hourly

Responsibilities:

Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks Verify customers’ identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations Collect payments, settle patron checks, and ensure tabs are paid, as well as record daily sales totals in the point of sale system Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages

Qualifications:

Prior food service industry experience is highly desired Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience About Company Holiday Inn College Drive is a 140-room full-service hotel on the College Drive I-10 corridor.
