Bar Manager/Head Bartender Jungle Casino 1813 Highway 3185, Thibodaux, LA 70301 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Interact with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on preferences. Process cash handling transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service techniques. Skills Proven experience in bartending or food service roles, preferably in a casual dining or quick-service restaurant setting. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine pairings, and beer selections is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience in restaurant management or catering can enhance your candidacy but is not required.
