FOH Manager/Bartender – Weeday 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 216-222 West Thomas Street, Hammond, LA 70401 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee the day time FOH operations of the new Tommy’s on Thomas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing FOH staff and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires a leader who can effectively coordinate the bar and dining room, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming atmosphere. Bar tending experience is required. Job will feature hourly pay, plus tips as main bartender. Duties Supervise and train front of house staff, ensuring they deliver outstanding service to all guests. Manage daily FOH operations, including overseeing staff, training, systems, reservations, and guest inquiries. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain inventory control by monitoring supplies and placing orders as necessary. Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the establishment. Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in budgeting and financial management to optimize operational efficiency. Utilize POS systems for tracking sales, processing transactions, and managing staff schedules. Serve as main day time bartender. Skills Proven experience in team management within the food industry is essential. Strong skills in staff training, with an emphasis on developing a cohesive team environment. Knowledge of bartending practices is a plus for enhancing guest experiences at the bar. Familiarity with food preparation standards to ensure quality service delivery. Competence in manage operational costs and budget effectively. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing and reporting. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.
