Bartender 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars Harwich Port, MA 02646 Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire part-time bartenders to work in the outlets within our private Beach Club this summer. The Beach Club Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our members and guests through genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure.

Schedule:

Mid-June through Labor Day Day and Evening Shift Availability Weekend availability required

Holidays Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

1+ year Bartending experience in restaurants preferred but not required T.I.P.S certification preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team Highly responsible and reliable Require ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends Must be able to routinely lift up to 35 lbs Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time Ability to work in an environment with temperatures exceeding 85 degrees

Core Duties:

This is intended to represent the key duties for this position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Welcome members and their guests at the bar, take orders and make recommendations. Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverage to customers. Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to consume alcohol. Take inventory and inform managers when stock is low to ensure bar and tables remain well-stocked. Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations. Handle cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and put to the correct account. Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils and equipment. Perform other duties as directed by Restaurant Manager and Director of Restaurants.
