Bartender Jillian’s Sports Pub – Somerset 1876 Wilbur Avenue, Somerset, MA 02725 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that guests enjoy a memorable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking drink orders and making recommendations based on their tastes. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests seated at the bar. Stay informed about current drink trends, new products, and techniques in mixology. Qualifications Strong knowledge of sales techniques and retail math to effectively manage transactions. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must possess food safety certification or be willing to obtain it upon hire. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
