The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drink specials, weekly inventory updates to bar manager, some grilling/sandwich making, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a blend of creativity, responsibility, efficiency, and strong communication skills. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, providing friendly service and assistance while taking drink orders. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with POS / point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of cocktail recipes is beneficial. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail when processing transactions. Ability to work efficiently in an occasionally fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. TIPS certification and Serve-safe certificate required Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Our lounge can be very busy in the summer months and can be a bit slower in the colder months. Tip sharing if more than one bartender. Special events on occasion as needed.
