Server/Bartender Position Available In Hampshire, Massachusetts

Server/Bartender Bistro 63 and Monkey Bar 63 North Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA 01002 Bistro 63 and Monkey Bar has been a downtown Amherst institution since 1999. We are a restaurant by day serving American comfort food in indoor and outdoor spaces, a private event venue, and host nightclub style parties on weekends during the academic year. The right candidate will have FOH table service experience (bar experience not necessary but helpful), and be able to work across the different operations in the business

• serve at Bistro and bartend (training provided) at Monkey.

We are a ‘tip pool’ house with pay averaging $18-30/hr including serving wage and tips. In the summertime, we run some solo shifts with a server/bartender so someone comfortable in that setting is preferred.

Job description:

• Friendly and enthusiastic service
• Table and bar service of food and beverage
• Up selling and guiding guests with complete knowledge of our products and service
• Safely serving alcohol (training provided)
• Cleaning all FOH areas
• Typical brunch, dinner and nightclub shift hours: 11am-5pm, 430pm-1030pm and 9pm-230am.
• Occasional coat check shifts at Monkey Bar.
• Full time students are scheduled for 2x shifts a week.

• Ability to start immediately
• Foh experience
• Full time candidates must have open availability.
• At least one work reference

Notes:

• Nightclub closed during summer break
• Pay range of $18-30/hr includes server hourly and tips.
