Bartender Warren’s Harborview 59 Main Street, Wareham, MA 02571 Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team in a newly constructed waterfront restaurant with large bar area . The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your role is crucial in ensuring that patrons enjoy their time at our establishment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with ordering when necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotions to effectively upsell products. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices. Skills Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Sales abilities to effectively promote menu items and increase revenue. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions. Experience in nightclub or bar settings preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus. Knowledge of brewing techniques can enhance drink offerings. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
