Bartender/Server Sixties Diner Norwood 389 West Center Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379 Job Overview The Boston Tavern in West Bridgewater, MA is currently looking for servers and bartenders. We are a very busy restaurant that pride’s itself in customer service. If you are an experienced bartender or server who loves serving the public then we want you to come work with us . for immediate consideration. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist with restocking as needed. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred. Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations in the food service industry. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
