Bartender/Server Ivey’s Motor Lodge 241 North Street, Houlton, ME 04730 Ivey’s Bistro, located inside Ivey’s Motor Lodge in Houlton, ME, is seeking a personable, reliable, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, mixes drinks with confidence and accuracy, and provides exceptional service to every guest. This is a part-time position , with evening and weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner Take orders accurately and serve food and drinks promptly Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and seating area Handle payments and operate POS system Restock and manage bar inventory as needed Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Previous experience as a bartender preferred, but not required (training available for the right candidate) Must be 21 years of age or older Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable, trustworthy, and customer-service oriented Availability for evening and weekend shifts
