Bartender/Server Social Goose Bar Brunswick, ME 04011 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, understanding the food options and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks will be essential in delivering an outstanding experience to our patrons. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Previous experience in a bartending or food service role is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Proficient time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling safety practices is beneficial.
