Perkins Cove 111 Perkins Cove Road, Ogunquit, ME 03907 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in welcoming guests, taking orders, and ensuring that all aspects of the dining experience are seamless and enjoyable. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Take food and drink orders accurately using the Aloha POS system. Provide detailed menu information and recommendations to guests. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times. Skills Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, particularly in a nightclub or catering environment. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. A passion for hospitality, with a focus on creating positive guest interactions. Basic food handling knowledge to ensure compliance with health standards.
